About Our Program

Meet Ms. Julia

Ms. Julia is the founder of Petite Ballet. She has been teaching young dancers for more than a decade, helping children discover the love of movement, music, and storytelling at an early age.

Her previous teaching experience includes Greenwich Dance Studio, Rockwell Dance Center, East Pointe Dance, The Dance Pointe, and other respected dance programs. Ms. Julia has completed dance pedagogy courses at New York University and The Ailey School, and has trained with professionals at studios in New York City, Los Angeles, and Connecticut.

With her background in ballet, creative movement, and early childhood dance education, Ms. Julia has created a program where young dancers feel encouraged, capable, and excited to learn. Petite Ballet is a joyful first step into dance for children in Greenwich, Cos Cob, Stamford, Rye Brook, Port Chester, and the surrounding communities.

Ms. Natalie is a graduate of SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. She has danced for Visions Contemporary Ballet, Chevalier Ballet, and is a current company member with Thomas Ortiz Dance. Natalie is an ABT® Certified Teacher who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum as well as her certification for Boston Ballet’s Adaptive Dance Program. She is excited to continue sharing her passion for dance with future generations.

Ms. Kim has loved dance from an early age and has studied at Steps on Broadway, Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensives, and the Radio City Rockette Experience. With a dual degree in Performing Arts and Fashion Merchandising, she is also an ISSA-certified Fitness/Personal Trainer, a credentialed Adult Ballet Fitness and Pilates instructor, and an ACE-certified Mind/Body Specialist. She is a member of the IDEA Health and Fitness Association and an affiliate of the American Academy of Ballet. Ms. Kim has been teaching dance for over 15 years and is experienced in the ABT and Cecchetti methods of ballet. Performance credits include lead roles in Cinderella, La Bayadere, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty. She believes, through dance, children can achieve higher levels of self-confidence, increased ability to concentrate, and improve physical fitness in a fun-filled stimulating environment, and appreciates the fact that each student is an individual who learns and develops at their own pace in a lively, inspiring, and motivating atmosphere!

Ms. Anjelle is originally from Northern California, where she studied dance from the age of two and began teaching young dancers when she was fifteen. Her love for dance has only grown throughout the years, while watching how the positive encouragement she instills in her students can turn into a passion and joy for dance. She currently also works as a registered behavior technician, teaching students with developmental disabilities, and attended Marymount Manhattan College, where she received a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on child development. Mixing her passion for dance and helping growing minds explore the world makes her eager to teach all the young dancers at Petite Ballet!

Ms. Anna is a ballet instructor from Westchester County. Growing up, she attended the Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts and later performed with the Ballet Theater of Boston. Ms. Anna earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at The Boston Conservatory, where she majored in Dance and studied classical ballet and modern dance forms. When not dancing, Ms. Anna can be found playing women’s flag football in a competitive league.

Ms. Dina is excited to bring her passion for dance to children. She started ballet at age 3 and has been assisting and teaching since high school. She trained with The Ballet School of Stamford in Connecticut and is currently part of the dance program at Sacred Heart University, where she is studying nursing. She loves sharing the joy of ballet with younger dancers and hopes to inspire them, just like she was inspired.

Ms. Jennifer, a Westchester County native, has been dancing for most of her life. Aside from studying jazz,tap, ballet, pointe, and modern, Jennifer also studied the performing arts at NYU Tisch School, The Juilliard School, and The University of Miami. She has traveled from coast to coast performing in such shows as Chicago (Velma Kelly), A Chorus Line (Sheila), Rent (Maureen), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), and Cirque Dreams (Songstress), to name a few. She has also performed on Celebrity Cruise Lines and at Woodloch Pines Resort as a principal singer/dancer. Jennifer continues to teach at various studios throughout Westchester County as well as performing and choreographing locally.

Classes begin on Tuesday, September 22nd, and end on Monday, December 21st.
