Our Policies
Please read and review the policies listed below.
Registration
Class eligibility is based on age. If a student is registered for a class in which they do not meet the age requirements, a more appropriate class will be recommended. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do not see a class on the schedule that works for you, please email studio@petiteballet.com. Payment is required in full at the the time of registration and is accepted only by credit card. Registration is not complete until payment has been processed.
Attire
Any color leotard (with or without skirt) from Beam & Barre, pink tights, proper ballet shoes (please no ballet flats or dress-up ballet shoes). Boys may wear black leggings, a t-shirt of any color, and black ballet shoes. The staff at Beam & Barre are happy to help with selecting appropriate attire, shoes, and sizing. Studio Etiquette, Cancellations, and Make-Up Classes
To be as courteous as possible to Beam & Barre shoppers, please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your designated class time. To run, classes and/or camps must have a minimum of 5 students registered at least 1 week before the start date. If this minimum is not reached, best efforts will be made to accommodate students in an alternative class or camp.
Students may make up one missed class per semester, provided there is space available in an alternative class. No make-up classes are allowed during the summer session. If a class is canceled due to weather, teacher illness, or other unforeseen circumstance, students may make up the class on an alternative class day and time. No refunds are offered if you are unable to attend the make-up class at the scheduled date and time. Cancellations and make-up dates will be announced via email and/or on Instagram via Petite Ballet's account.
The decision to suspend in-person classes and move to a virtual platform via Zoom is entirely at the discretion of Petite Ballet, LLC, and will be made if deemed necessary for the health and well-being of students and teachers.
Grown Up & Me Classes
Please note that our Grown Up & Me classes require a caregiver to attend class with the student and to participate. Caregivers should assist students by holding their hands to guide them around the room, sitting on the floor with them, and assisting them to make shapes with their bodies and feet! Caregivers may wear any type of clothing they would be comfortable moving in (students should wear proper attire as listed above). Shoes are not permitted in the dance studio; please wear or bring a pair of socks.
